Summary to date:

All,

I would like to summarize what has happened in bullet points since the end of the encounter in Town Hall as a precursor to wrapping up loose ends and giving a good starting point going into the next session. These are, for the most part, in chronological order as I see it. I've marked in bold what I believe are key points to know/discuss.

• Drow were detained and questioned. This likely took 2 days as they are resistant and the party's resources are nearly spent.
  
• The fire at the Town Hall was extinguished, and Sildar Hallwinter was informed of what occurred. He is working to calm to citizens as the party heads back to the manor to clean up and rest.
  
• While cleaning up Beric has a conversation with his sister whose image appeared in his wash basin.
  
• Nym had nightmares.
  
• Nym, with Wellby's help spends the next afternoon searching for enchanted ink to make a scroll from one of Shiall's books. Wellby, having his own intentions, guides the pair to Halia Thornton's home where evidence is discovered linking her to the Zhentarim faction.
  
• Ticier puts his woodworking skills to use helping to repair the town hall.
  
• Beric makes his intent known to the group that he intends to run for mayor of the town, now feeling more convinced then ever to be their protector.
  
• Between the interrogation and the research you find that the Dwarven book held by Iarno Glasstaff held a map to a nearby Drow stronghold on its cover. You believe this is where Shiall was taken.
  
• Truffle and Lander are working to open a pub of some kind to offset the expenses of the manor and increase the morale of the citizens.
  
• The election for mayor will occur at the end of Day 3, and will be the start of the next session.
  

In addition, XP and loot was awarded. Expenses for the manor were discussed, and a request has been made to give the part a true adventuring group name. Iron Suns seems to be the favorite as of right now.

The Iron Suns sounds fairly badass to me.

OOC: Nope, I felt bad that so much of the campaign seemed to be influenced by Beric so I thought of a name that sounded cool and was universal enough for the whole party.

Sorry but I wont be taking a leading position in this. I prefer to be a bit more hidden and would benefit you better.

*Looks around* I mean, honestly I think we expected you to lead us. But if you really are going for head of the town, you might want to hand it off to someone else. Again, if you need a leader, I can fill the role.

I believe that, given time, Phandalin will become the home of The Iron Suns. Two sides of the same coin more or less. Leading the town will go hand in hand with my position in The Iron Suns. The military portion of the band can be led as a miniature republic of sorts with each of the leaders holding equal weight and responsibility. I would like you to be one of those leaders. We each have our strengths and different branches of The Iron Suns will require different skills.

OOC: Also, I don't think any one of us should be put in a spot where they can be throwing orders around to the others so I thought this would be a good solution to that problem.

Your right. You're strength, I'm, uh, moral? And Wellby is... Wellby? Was he ever here in the first place?

*Nym walks by to hear Lander's last remark. Her face is brimming with stress and anxiety, it upon hearing Lander's suggestion that he be morals, she bursts out laughing,points and Lander and tries to say something, but can't, because she is laughing too hard. At this point, she just walks away, chuckling to herself, and repeating "morals".

*Lander is silent for a bit, then groans* Morale. I meant to say morale.

Droop watches the practice session with eagerness. Any chance he gets to see his king in action brings a smile to his face and makes him beam with pride. He has even made little pennants with the Iron Sun insignia to wave.

Upon seeing Nym burst into laughter Droop catches the giggles as well. As Lander shakes his head groaning Droop waves his hand and makes the word MORALS appear in the air with a red slash through them. He then joins in heartily with Nym's laughter.

Lander shoves his hands into his pockets, muttering under his breath "Smartass gnome" as he walks away.
