*all in Russian accent* As party heads back to surface, Soda Popinski will attempt to talk to his new comrades. Especially small flute player who freed him, what a funny man! Soda walks over to tiny man. "Good work in fighting! If I had sod-I mean beer, I would certainly share with you! Tell me, how can small flute hurt huge monsters?"

"And if I had more of my chocolates with me, I would certainly share them with you as well! As for my instrument, it is in fact a recorder, not a flute. You can easily tell the difference by its superior design and flawless quality of musical notes. Combine that with such an amazing musician as myself, makes my melodies to die for, as you have so evidently seen."

Wellby mutters a little loud "And the souls of those it slays in melee."

HAHA yes! Music very effective! Tempo helps with one two punches! And is tough for bashing people over head too, ya? *grabs Wellby (if he can see him that is) and pats him heartily on the back*

Wellby coughs from the hearty hit.
"Yes, you should ask him what creatures hes actually slain with that recorder in close combat."

Ooooh, tiny man slays big creatures? Did he slay floating man? *Points at lander, floating on disk, knocked out.*

"Nope that one was knocked out by stupidity. Went somewhere he shouldn't without help."

"The tiny man did slay a wyvern or two bout a month ago."

"Until he got bored and shoved the recorder into their skulls."

"Ehh, I do not know why damsel would want to stay down here, is not good place to be. And me? Ah, yes. I understand you all usually wear more clothes, but for me, is not luxury I could afford. We were searching for gold from being with many eyes!" *Soda pantomimes beholder eyes with boxing gloves* "But, when we found gold, friend took it all for himself! He blast me with strong magic, and I fell. I was captured by bad men, with tentacles on faces." *Soda pantomimes by wiggling his fingers in front of his mouth* "They make me fight for life, but is good for me! I is very good at fighting! I beat many bad men, but then they put me up against good man, friend who also fell! I could not fight him, so I lost. But on purpose! They take me to be eaten, but they say brain isn't very large, not tasty. I watch very many men get eaten. Good men, but also bad men. So is not all bad." *Shakes of nasty thoughts of people getting their brains getting sucked out of their heads*

"Yeah, rough times. So what are you going to do I once your back on the surface?"

"Probably find work. Fists for hire, such is my life here. Where do we head anyways?"

"Heading back to the town of Phandalin. That's where he." Wellby points at Berric.

"The town is also the current Headquarters of the Iron Suns. A Mercenary company that everyone else here is a part of."

"Mercenarys? You don't look like mercenarys" *looks at berric, riding a holy lion* "But is ok, most mercenarys are bad men. Or sometimes women! Many bad women down where drow live."

"Well mercenaries are only bad if they do bad things. The main leaders of the Iron suns are followers of Torm. So they are law abiding."

He looks at Wellby, head to the side. "And does your god pay you for your acts? Or do you do it because it's right?"

"  My 'god', doesn't pay me. I get paid for job requests from people. What jobs the Iron Suns do does have a moral compass as long as they know if its evil or not. other than that extra tasks pop up because of said moral compass that tend to happen free of charge. Heck, we haven't charged you for letting us rescue you from the mind flayers."
